My Mama Says is an impact and research driven brand dedicated to helping children develop essential emotional skills through engaging toys, tools and activities. Created by Nadine Levitt—an author, curriculum writer, education advocate, mother, and CEO of Nota Bene Entertainment, LLC— the approach was born out of her desire to guide her own children through the sometimes big emotions in a healthy and empowering way. 

Inspired by her work in schools, Nadine offered a free school curriculum, and has led countless workshops across the United States. Nadine believes emotional intelligence is essential to future success and happiness. It forms the fundamental building blocks to self awareness, social awareness, self management, responsible decision-making, and of course relationship skills. This is why she wanted to make it easier for all families to access these valuable tools through a monthly subscription box, and free online tools and resources.

Our approach is grounded in the latest research on emotional development and social-emotional learning curriculums, ensuring that every activity is not only engaging but also backed by proven educational strategies. My Mama Says is designed as an ongoing journey, recognizing that emotions don’t exist in isolation. Like the blending of colors in a watercolor painting, emotions interact and shape how children experience the world. That’s why our subscription model introduces a new emotion within the context of the real world each month, offering consistent, bite-sized learning opportunities that seamlessly integrate into daily life.
