The rap of The little book on happiness (lyrics)

In a sunny valley not far from the sea,
Lived a little Grasshopper as happy as can be.

He hopped through the meadows, bounding this way and that,
Only stopping for friends like the Cuddle Muffin Cat!

He'd drink tea with Calm Koala and play games with Goofy Goat,
And dance with Confident Panda until he'd almost float.

His wings would start to flutter, and his body would relax,
He'd twirl with pure joy and forget all the facts.

The Worried Pig oinked "Be careful, don't fall!"
"You're jumping too freely, like a bouncy ball!"

Nervous Sparrow chirped, "Happiness rarely lasts!”
And when he disappears, he leaves an echo of the past”

Curious Sheep chimed in, "That's true! It's almost like a spell,
That urges us to follow you and search for where you dwell."

But Grasshopper grinned with a twinkle in his eye,
"But Happiness is something that helps everybody fly!

It's the warmth of the sun and the breeze on your face,
It's the love you feel in each moment and place.

It's the flutter of your heart, the way your body feels,
When you follow Monkey’s trail of yummy banana peels."

And just like that, the Happy Grasshopper was gone,
Leaving everyone to sway to the echo of his song.

Determined, Bee buzzed loudly, "But he can’t fly away!
I'll search high and low and bring him back today!"

Then Goofy Goat leapt up - with a gleam in his eye,
"A game of tag will catch him—he can’t say goodbye!"

Curious Sheep stopped his friends and thought for a while,
"If we try to stop him, we'll never see his smile!

Happiness can't be caught; it has to be free,
It lives in the now, in the things we can't see."

The Calm Koala stretched in the shade of a tree,
"Sometimes, the best thing is to simply just… be."

In Love Guinea Pig piped up, all aglow,
"Happiness grows when we give in to love's flow!"

Cuddly Cat purred, "Happy Grasshopper is near,
You can feel him all around in the love shared here."

Grateful Monkey swung down from a tree with a grin,
"Happiness stays when we give thanks from within."

"Ugh, please stop," rasped the Disgusted Worm,
"All this gushy joy stuff makes my stomach squirm."

Calm Koala smiled, "I guess it's all about perspective…
How we frame what we're seeing can make us more receptive.

We feel Happiness in moments, and it leaves us wanting more,
But it always stays longer when we're not looking to keep score.

Enjoy him without expectation, and don't hold on too tight,
Just savor all the gifts he brings, and wave goodbye when he takes flight."

Then Sad Pup stepped forward and called his happy friend,
"I remember when your wings grew, which let your joy extend.

You learned to fly so freely, with a heart open wide,
But I stayed behind, feeling empty inside."

And just like that, Grasshopper returned to the ground,
Startled by the obvious wisdom he'd found.

"Sadness only adds to joy, it deepens the connection,
Your view on this experience has changed my reflection!

For when sadness is felt, it leaves room for me,
And our imprint together makes life’s tapestry!

The Grasshopper called to all of his friends
"I guess we ALL add to life's beautiful lens."

"I am fun and warm, but fleeting; I know
But it’s all YOUR reflections that make me glow."
